Nutritional Goal Update- Due April 12th
After reading last weeks posts, many people seemed to struggle sticking to their goal over spring break. This is common. As humans we need routine and structure. Once our routine is disrupted, we have a hard time maintaining the behavior we are trying to change. Keep in mind, these are still goals you are trying to make a habit. Studies show this could take up to 6 months!
This week, please tell us if it was hard to start tracking your goal again after stopping during spring break.
If you continued to track your goal and do well during spring break, tell us what helped you stay motivated.
This post should be about 2-3 sentences!

ReplyDeleteThe one thing that helped me keep motivated to keep op with my goal was that I want to keep my energy up for tennis. If I wasn't participating in a spring sport I think that it would be much more difficult.
ReplyDeleteBecause I did so poorly over spring break I was motivated right away to do well with my goal. But what really made me remember to stay on track was the sport that i'm in, because when I got back from spring break it was harder to get back into the groove. That ultimately was why i'm doing better with my goal.
ReplyDeleteIt's easier to keep up with my goal in the school week because when i'm at school, i'm not tempted to go to my fridge and drink chocolate milk. I am in my routine of drinking a single glass after school. That i why i am doing better with my goal of cutting my chocolate milk intake.

Getting to the gym everyday is hard. Sometimes my parents are not up for the gym. Other times I have too much on my agenda so I don't even think to go.
ReplyDeleteMy motivation is to have a healthy calcium in take. There are many people who have health problems involving low calcium.
ReplyDeleteEating healthy makes me feel much better than eating chips and that helped to put my self back on track.
ReplyDeleteWell i have kept my goal and have drank more water and i also made another goal of excersing more.
ReplyDeleteI have been eating at least one more serving of fruits and vegetables a day, but I don't always get to eat two.
ReplyDeleteI didn't really stop tracking my goals over spring break. But, the way I stayed on track was just to remind myself throughout the day.
ReplyDeleteIt was a lot harder to keep track during spring break. I had this thought that kept reminding me to drink more water though.
